The 2011 Syrah is a very textural and expressive wine with a combination of classic Hawkes Bay Syrah qualities with the typical William Murdoch minerality. Full and fresh on the palate with blackberry, liquorice and dark plum notes, this wine is wonderfully concentrated yet smooth and elegant.

Matured for 16 months in premium French barriques (35% new), the 2011 Syrah will continue to develop and drink well for the next 6-8 years when cellared carefully.
